Quentin Harel is my cousin in the south of Beaujolais, a holiday friend and a friend for life. The vineyard is 24 acre is transmitted to each generation since 250 years, Quentin is now taking over after my uncle Thierry and just bought some Morgon. The family is an original one, always experimenting in the wine making process : best for the environment and to boost our vitality. Passionate and reckless, the Harel’s are fervent partisans of organic agriculture. At the domaine, you have mostly gamay, a tiny bit of pinot noir and some chardonnay to make the rare beaujolais blanc. It’s been three years that the beaujolais-nouveau is dressed up with Vicky’s colors every november, last year to celebrate the new bork of Quentin & Nina : Corto, born on a harvest day. You’ll discover his beaujolais again during the beaujolais nouveau this year!
