Bordeaux Rosé, the last born of the Vicky’s wines family

It is thanks to the Bordeaux and Bordeaux supérieur house that I was able to gather all the samples to make the selection. In January in Paris, 15 wine tasters went through the wines to leave only 3 on the podium. 

I’ve chosen the Ducourt family, great wine producers of white wines in Entre-deux-mers : for the insolence of the wine color, bright and affirmed, the screw cap and the freshness of the wine. A rosé to be drunk, full of red fruits, light and fresh, to pass the hot summer to come.

The label you helped me select comes from a team work between Charlotte Poupon industrial designer that I have met on Twitter, my sister Laure, Guillaume Coulon and Marilyn Johnson behind the camera and the talentuous Audrey Bakx for the last ajustements. Thank you to you all!

Bordeaux Clairet : premier de la collection personnelle

Bordeaux clairet is a crush I had a few month ago, a forgotten appellation that I really felt in love with,  just like Régis Chaigne, the winemaker in Entre-deux-mers, who supports its cause.

The clairet that we want to burry is resolutely modern. A color between pink and red that will make more than a rosé de bordeaux or elsewhere blink. There is also a beautiful structure, zero sugar but a full basket of riped red fruits, soft tannins, and a great texture.  That will be the wine for your barbecues, one for amateurs, for woman with temper. A wine as we like it, with no heaviness or bitterness.

The bordeaux clairet by Régis Chaigne is the first of my new wine range  ”Collection Personnelle” that will gather the wines I have a crush on on appellations that deserve our attention.  Skeeze as an intruder in the blind tasting for bordeaux rosé, it came out first of all. Would you like another glass?

Distribution :

The Clairet will start first in London with my importer Borough Wines.

The rosé will start by showing off in Paris and Bordeaux and all will be sold on Cdiscount in a few weeks. The season is starting late for the rosés this year but they will be ready to face the sunshine early in 2014.
