Pruning time ending in Beaujolais !

It’s getting warmer, the sun was up all week-end in Beaujolais. We also heard it may be snowing this week, something I won’t believe until I’ve seen it. If true, my dad is happy to say he has finally finished pruning. We have 8,45Ha and they are 4 persons in total in the field during the winter time, working together or one at a time.

Sometimes it’s a pleasure to day dream under the blue sky, you also have much harder days with fog, rain, cold and humidy. Once done, you’re proud and happy, looking to the horizon thinking of the green leaves and red grapes to come.

I just sit there, stay quiet and watch. Rare moments.
